Danebod Folk Camp is kept in ship-shape by a great many people who offer their time, talents, money and other resources to make the camp possible, year after year.
One way to contribute is to serve on our board. Here’s a rundown of the current board members:
Alex Legeros, Representative to Danebod Family Camps
The DFC board ‘s role is to ensure its fiscal health, act on strategic goals set by camp members, and guide the camp into the future.
It also coordinates with the Danebod Family Camp board to ensure an optimal combined contribution in support of the Danebod Lutheran Church, which owns and maintains the Danebod Folk School campus property which the June, July and August camps all make loving use of.
Our annual meeting is conducted during one of the morning discussion times while at camp in August, and is open to all members. The annual Danebod Family Camps meeting is held in October, usually in the Twin Cities, and is open to all campers. In addition, the DFC board meets bi-monthly, and minutes are available upon request.
